From Monday 22nd March There will be changes to our Repeat Prescription process.
Repeat Prescription requests will now be processed within 3 full working days of receipt. Please ensure you have adequate supply of your medication and allow sufficient time for us to process your request. This applies to request made by you directly, or by your nominated Pharmacy.
Please make your request in writing, by using use the tear-off section on the right hand side of your prescription or fill out a repeat request form and place through the letter box at Reception.
Have you Considered On-line Access? To access online repeat prescriptions you will need to register for a pin number which you can get from the Reception Team
Telephone requests for repeat prescriptions are not accepted because of the risk of errors.
In all cases, please allow 3 full working days for your request to be processed before collecting from your nominated Pharmacy .
Please check regularly that you have enough medication and request repeat prescriptions in good time, particularly around busy periods such as Bank Holiday.
To make it easier for our patients we use the electronic prescription service (EPS) with the local pharmacies. This allows you to collect your medication directly from your nominated pharmacy, without the need for a paper prescription.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
